Dr. Lynch has advanced training in epilepsy. In addition, he has extensive experience in electroencephalography (EEG) – the measuring of electrical activity produced by the brain – offering diagnostic services to patients unlike anywhere else in the region. As part of a multidisciplinary team, Dr. Lynch and his colleagues are continuously researching new and innovative therapies to treat epilepsy. This groundbreaking research will pave the way for additional technological advancements in patient care. Dr. Lynch makes it a priority to explain everything to his patients: “I spend a great deal of time with each of my patients and teach them everything about epilepsy in a way they will understand,” he says.
At Albany Medical College, he is the program director of the Neurophysiology Fellowship Program.
