Dr. de Waal Malefyt is a board-certified pediatrician. He sees pediatric patients from birth to adolescence. He is also part of the Environmental Health team, and oversees the Reach Out and Read literacy program.

He completed a General Pediatrics Residency and a Pediatrics Residency at Upstate Medical University, and earned his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical Center.
