Dr. Cole specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus in minimally invasive surgical techniques including advanced laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery using the daVinci Robot. Additionally, Dr. Cole has a busy practice treating female urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse.

His practice style is notable for being fastidious, paying attention to detail. Hudson Valley Magazine has included him in the annual list of the region’s “Top Doctors” every year since 2008. His approach to patient care is personal and consistent: “I spend time with patients making sure all of their questions are answered,” says Dr. Cole.

Dr. Cole takes pride in teaching colleagues, resident doctors, and medical students alike. With a focus on evidence-based medicine and optimum patient outcomes, he helps train our future physicians. He was awarded the “Excellence in resident teaching award” in 2009 by the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a result of his nomination by the resident doctors.

Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Cole is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology. A graduate of Albany Medical College, he completed his residency training at Albany Medical Center in 1991, where he served as chief resident.
