Dr. Daraban is the medical director and chief of cardiology at Saratoga Hospital. She oversees all inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, in collaboration with other members of hospital leadership.
She earned her medical degree at Carol Davila University of Medicine & Pharmacy. She completed an internship and residency at New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, and a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Daraban is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in cardiology and cardiovascular disease, as well as the National Board of Echocardiography and the Fellow of American College of Cardiology. She specializes in transesophageal echocardiography, echocardiographic assessment of valvular disease, critical cardiac care, and treatment of heart disease in cancer patients.
Dr. Daraban also serves as the medical director of the Diagnostic Center at Saratoga Hospital, and sees patients at Saratoga Hospital Medical Group - Cardiology. She also provides consultation to inpatients and outpatients at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
