Dr. Gerber is division chief of General Internal Medicine. She sees adult patients at Albany Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Group and also serves as vice chair of the Department of Medicine for Faculty Development. As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Gerber diagnoses and treats common medical problems and chronic illnesses in patients aged 18 years and older. She has a special interest in women’s health and in trauma-informed care, which takes trauma and adverse childhood experiences into account as part of a holistic approach to medical care.
