Dr. Davis is one of the few fellowship-trained surgical oncologists in the Capital Region. She specializes in the surgical management of cancer, especially soft-tissue malignancies and skin cancers, including advanced melanoma. She is also skilled at treating retroperitoneal tumors, peritoneal malignancies, including stage IV colon cancer, and appendiceal masses and abnormalities.

In addition, Dr. Davis provides surgical care to patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors, neuroendocrine tumors of the stomach, pancreas and small bowel, adrenal tumors, gallbladder cancer and other conditions, including breast cancer, stomach cancer and small bowel cancer.

She offers a full range of surgical treatment options to patients with cancer, and specializes in coordinating the complex needs of cancer patients with a team of doctors, including medical oncologists and radiation oncologists.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Davis, a former clinical research fellow at the National Cancer Institute, is collaborating with scientific researchers at Albany Med to help further the Medical Center’s advances in translational medicine.
