Dr. Donnelly is a general neurologist. She completed a fellowship in neurophysiology at Albany Medical Center, as well as a residency in neurology, during which she served as chief resident. She earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa.

She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and New York State Neurological Association.
