Dr. Pianka is a physiatrist with a fellowship in pain management who treats conditions related to stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputation, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. He offers spasticity management, including the use of Botox injections to reduce muscle stiffness and improve mobility. He provides durable medical equipment management, ensuring patients have the appropriate tools and devices to support their rehabilitation and daily lives.
Dr. Pianka also performs interventional pain procedures such as epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, and other minimally invasive techniques to manage chronic pain and improve function in patients with conditions affecting the spine, joints, and soft tissues.
In 2019, Dr. Pianka graduated from Albany Medical College, where he also completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and a fellowship in pain management.
