Dr. Fisher is a nationally recognized expert in the field of urology. He serves as the director of urologic oncology at Albany Medical Center. A skilled urological surgeon, his specialties include the treatment of cancer of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testis and penis.

Dr. Fisher is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Medical Examiners, as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

An associate professor of surgery at Albany Medical College, he serves as a principal investigator for many clinical trials and is a frequent speaker at clinical meetings across the country. Dr. Fisher has published close to 50 peer reviewed articles and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Urology

Dr. Fisher is a graduate of Bowdoin College and received his medical degree from St. Louis University. He completed a residency in surgery at the University of Vermont and a residency is urological surgery at Albany Medical Center, as well as a special fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Dr. Fisher has served as Principal Investigator for 25 clinical trials and is a nationally recognized expert in his field and frequent speaker at clinical meetings across the country. He has published close to 50 peer reviewed articles and serves as a Reviewer for the Journal of Urology.
