A transplant nephrologist, Dr. Giovanni Faddoul specializes in the medical treatment of kidney transplant patients, including pre-transplant medical evaluations and post-transplant care. He also treats patients with general kidney conditions, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, glomerular disease and hypertension.
Dr. Faddoul is from Kfarqatra, Lebanon. He graduated from the School of Medicine at Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon, where he received his MD degree. He has a master’s degree in Biology and Medical Sciences which he attained in 2010. He received his Internal Medicine training at Staten Island University Hospital in New York then completed his training in Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine as well as Nephrology.
Dr. Faddoul is also a certified Transplant Nephrologist. He is a member of the Lebanese order of physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, and the American Society of Transplant. He is interested in medical research, Kidney Transplantation, Immunology, Kidney Diseases, dialysis, and hypertension. Dr. Faddoul is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
