Etana Zack, MD, is a pediatric hospitalist at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital. She is board certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. She previously worked as a pediatric hospitalist in the Chicago area for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and Advocate Children's Hospital, part of Advocate Aurora Health. During this time, she earned a Medical Staff Patient Safety award at Advocate Sherman Hospital.

Dr. Zack is no stranger to the Capital Region, she completed her Pediatric Residency and earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College. During her residency, she served on the Quality Improvement Committee for the General Pediatric practice, and the Pediatric Residency Wellness Focus Group.

Since the start of the Pandemic, Dr. Zack served on the COVID-19 Task Force at Congregation Anshe Shalom Bnei Israel in Chicago. She monitored local and national trends, and helped set institutional policies for social distancing, masking, vaccinations, and returning to in-person activity.

Dr. Zack lives in Albany and enjoys crossword puzzles, biking, and crafting in her spare time.
