Dr. Pinto specializes in emergency medicine, carrying for patients of all ages in need of emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses. She completed her medical education at the University of Rochester - School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr. Pinto is an active member of the Albany Med Health System community, supporting numerous initiatives, including EMmersion Boot Camp, a program that gives local high school students hands-on experiences in the medical field. She is a member of the Department of Emergency Medicine's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force. She has also served as Director of the Emergency Medicine Clerkship Program.

At Albany Medical College, she is the dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine. She is assistant director of Emergency Ultrasound.
