Dr. Gaiotti-Grubbs joined the C.R. Wood Cancer Center in 2009 and was named chair of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Clinical Research in 2011 and Director of the Genetics Program in 2017. She serves as Registry Quality Coordinator of the Cancer Committee and Chair of the Ethics Committee, as well as the Physician Champion for clinical research for breast cancer.

Dr. Gaiotti-Grubbs received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Williams College in Massachusetts. After attending medical school at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, she completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine from New York University Medical Center and a Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
