Dr. Zelig specializes in maternal fetal medicine, which includes high risk obstetrics, preterm labor and prevention, care for hypertensive patients, genetic counseling, high level ultrasonography, pre-conception counseling, and amniocentesis.
A retired Naval officer, he previously served department head of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune, and as the director for surgical services at the Naval Hospital in Guam. He was also chair of the OB/GYN Department at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
Dr. Zelig is board certified in maternal and fetal medicine and in obstetrics and gynecology. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
