Dr. Abraham is a board-certified surgeon and has advanced training in diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the breasts. She specializes in treating and screening for breast cancer at all stages and welcomes new patients at Albany Medical Center's Breast Care Center, which is accredited by The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.

Dr. Abraham’s surgical expertise includes hidden scar and oncoplastic surgery to treat benign and malignant disease of the breast. Other areas of interest include localization of breast disease for lumpectomy, skin-sparing and nipple-sparing mastectomy, breast reconstruction, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and sentinel node procedures. She also as expertise in de-escalation therapy, where available, and axillary dissection.

With the team at the Breast Care Center, Dr. Abraham also offers patients high-risk breast cancer screening options including genetic testing, advanced medical imaging, and biopsies.

Dr. Abraham is a member of the National Directory of Breast Professionals, American Association of Breast Surgeons, American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
