Dr. Morris specializes in maternal fetal medicine with special interest in hypertensive complications, prevention of preterm birth, ultrasound diagnosis of anomalies, as well as patient safety and quality improvement.
He prides himself on working closely with her patients to create a personalized treatment plan. He works closely with maternal fetal physicians, high risk nurses, sonographers, genetic counselors, pediatric specialists, and social workers to provide comprehensive care to his patients.
Board certified in maternal and fetal medicine and in obstetrics and gynecology, he is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Morris completed a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He completed his residency training at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass., and earned his medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago. Prior to coming to Albany in 2016, Dr. Morris worked at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis for nine years, where he received multiple resident teaching awards and helped develop a leading obstetrical safety program.
