Dr. Novello, Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, received her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her traditional rotating internship at Coney Island Hospital and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Nassau University Medical Center. She subsequently completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Novello is trained in ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided injections for musculoskeletal and spine-related problems and has particular interests in the interplay of pain and the mind-body connection.
