Dr. McPhillips received a BA in English from St. Lawrence University and worked in Boston for two years as a Clinical Research Assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center before attending University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. As a medical student, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and was elected by her peers to receive the Student DO of the Year award. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Recognition Award, given to the graduating student who best exemplifies the principles and practices of osteopathic manipulative medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Brown Family Medicine in Pawtucket, R.I. She enjoys practicing full-spectrum care and caring for patients both in and out of the hospital as well as performing in-office procedures. She is particularly interested in care of underserved patient populations.
