Amy Bender, MS, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner who works in the generalist OB/GYN department at Albany Medical Center. Amy treats a wide variety of gynecologic and pregnancy-related conditions and provides routine health maintenance to women from adolescence through menopause. She is trained in providing colposcopy and other routine in office gynecological procedures. Amy is experienced and enjoys managing hormone therapy for transgender and non-binary patients. She has a passion for improving health care for her patients specifically for women and patients who identify as LGBTQ.
