Albany Med Health System (AMHS) participates with the following health plans listed below. We also accept other health plans that are not listed here.

You should contact your health plan to make sure your insurance covers the services you are interested in. Even if we accept your health plan, it does not mean that your plan will have the benefits necessary to cover your specific service. Additionally, before your visit, you should contact your health plan to confirm laboratory services. AMHS has arrangements with several laboratories as part of our participation with certain health plans.

Medicare Beneficiaries

As you plan for health insurance coverage during Open Enrollment, AMHS participating Medicare Advantage plans include Aetna, CDPHP, Emblem, Empire Blue Cross, Fidelis, Hamaspik, Highmark, MVP, and Nascentia. We also continue to participate as a Medicare provider. Individuals enrolled with non-participating plans are encouraged to understand your benefits for out-of-network coverage should you ever need AMHS. Some plans do not allow out-of-network services.
