Care for the Spirit During Covid-19

As our medical staff gives their all to patients during the pandemic, so, too, does the Pastoral Care team, also on call 24/7/365 to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, their families, visitors and employees. The department’s chaplains serve people of all faiths and those with no religious beliefs. In the early days of the pandemic, they introduced elements of “telechaplaincy” into their work, connecting patients with family outside the hospital, but their in-person presence never waned.
