Albany Medical College to Play Integral Role in Elevating System Services
A new role identified at Albany Medical College has more than just academic implications—it will support efforts to enhance the level of care for millions in our region.
Diana Mosquera, MD, an anesthesiologist, has been named the first-ever assistant dean of health care strategy and clinical transformation at the College. In her new role, Dr. Mosquera will play an integral role in efforts to evaluate and develop strategic initiatives that improve health care services throughout the Albany Med Health System. She will also focus on identifying care delivery and payment transformation trends and opportunities that align with the System’s mission,
vision, and values.
“Dr. Mosquera’s deep understanding of health care payment policy, hospital and physician reimbursement, quality improvement, and clinical operations will be a tremendous asset as we grow as a System and adjust to the continually changing health care landscape,” said Alan S. Boulos, MD, ’94, dean of Albany Medical College.
