Albany Medical Center Welcomes Urologist Dr. Michael Pignanelli

Michael Pignanelli, MD, has joined the Department of Urology at Albany Medical Center, a member of the Albany Med Health System, and has been appointed assistant professor at Albany Medical College.
A specialist in andrology (male reproductive health and urological issues), Dr. Pignanelli offers medical and surgical treatments for a wide range of conditions including Peyronie’s disease, erectile dysfunction, male infertility, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He also implants prosthetic devices and sees patients for general urological conditions, including kidney stones.
Dr. Pignanelli completed a fellowship in urology – erectile dysfunction at University of South Florida in Tampa. Originally from Canada, he completed residency training in urology at University of Western Ontario, where he also earned his medical degree. He has additional training in microsurgery.
