Albany Medical Center Welcomes Pediatric Cancer Specialist Dr. Sarah Koblick
Sarah Koblick, MD, a pediatric hematologist/oncologist, has joined the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. She was also appointed as assistant professor of Pediatrics at Albany Medical College and will serve as director of the Sickle Cell Program at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Koblick will see patients with sickle cell disease and childhood cancer. Her special interests include clinical practice guidelines and quality improvement.
Most recently, Dr. Koblick worked as a clinical instructor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan, where she also completed her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology. Dr. Koblick completed her residency in pediatrics at Albany Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.
She is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, the American Academy of Hematology, the Children’s Oncology Group, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
A Rockland County native, Dr. Koblick now resides in Cohoes with her husband and their dog.
