Albany Medical Center Welcomes Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist Dr. John P. Gavin
Local pediatric otolaryngologist John P. Gavin, MD, ’00, has joined Albany Med’s Department of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat).
Dr. Gavin sees pediatric patients up to age 18 for all disorders of the ear, nose, and throat, including middle ear disease, hearing loss, tonsil and adenoid disease, sleep disorders, swallowing diagnoses, and breathing difficulty. His special interests include vascular birthmarks and congenital neck masses.
He has been serving in the Capital Region as a pediatric otolaryngologist since 2007. Most recently, he practiced at Albany ENT and Allergy Associates. Dr. Gavin completed his fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. He completed his residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery and surgical internship at Albany Medical Center, and earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College.
The Capital Region native lives in Watervliet with his wife and their three children.
