Rheumatology is the study of diseases that affect joints and the connective tissue surrounding them. These diseases often result in sore, swollen or warm joints, most commonly affecting the neck, shoulders, fingers, hips, knees and feet. Common rheumatic diseases include arthritis, osteoporosis and gout, and auto-immune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Our board-certified rheumatologists and rheumatology team can accurately diagnose and manage symptoms.
