Your Hospital Needs You!
As a not-for-profit community hospital, Glens Falls Hospital is committed to providing advanced medical care and a wide array of health and wellness programs to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. Maintaining this high level of care in an era of declining government and insurance reimbursement is increasingly a challenge. Many of our most important services simply do not generate enough revenue to cover their costs.
Founded in 1997, the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation’s sole purpose is to raise private funds to help meet the hospital’s continuing needs. We hope you will consider the many giving opportunities available to you, both now and in the future.
Through your generosity, Glens Falls Hospital will continue to provide quality care, as close to home as possible.
Show your appreciation by honoring someone who provided outstanding care during your time of need. Join the many who have donated with a grateful heart to honor their caregivers who make a difference every day. When you donate you are giving our community’s talented physicians, nurses, and other caregivers the facilities, advanced technologies and training necessary to save and enhance lives at Glens Falls Hospital. With your generosity, we will continue to make a difference in the lives of local families for generations to come.
Each Glens Falls Hospital caregiver honored through this program will be recognized through:
- A heart charm to be worn on their badge in recognition of their commitment to care.
- The caregiver’s name displayed on the interactive donor recognition display in the Art of Healing Hallway as well as in the Annual Report issued for the year of the donation.
- Donors may include a thank you message with their gift that will be shared with the honoree.
You can donate to the Grateful Heart Program online or by calling 518-926-5960.
Since 1897, Glens Falls Hospital has served as the comprehensive health care safety net for patients and their families across a 5 county, primarily rural area of Upstate New York. From our main hospital campus to a network of over 20 regional locations, Glens Falls Hospital is committed to providing quality care in our local communities.
As a not-for-profit hospital, Glens Falls Hospital’s operating margins are razor thin. At the end of each year, the surplus funds available for reinvestment in services and technologies is extremely limited.
Because of this challenge, philanthropic support plays a vital role in helping our hospital provide the latest advancements in health care technologies, administered by the finest health care professionals in advanced health care facilities.
Your contributions to the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation are essential to helping our hospital:
- Provide new families a safe and healthy beginning
- Give our community’s talented physicians, nurses and other caregivers the advanced technologies and training necessary to save and enhance lives
- Help people living with cancer to overcome this disease and count themselves proudly as Cancer Survivors
With your generosity, our hospital will continue to make a difference in the lives of local families for generations to come. You can make your gift right now to our Annual Fund.
