Dr. Moreland is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedics, clubfoot, developmental dysplasia of the hip, and lower extremity deformity—and treats pediatric traumatic injuries. She sees patients from birth to 18 years old.

Dr. Moreland earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury on a military scholarship. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Ga., while commissioned as an active-duty officer in the Army. As an Army orthopedic surgeon, she provided surgical care for active duty airborne and special operations service members and their families at Fort Bragg, N.C., and was part of a surgical team deployed to the Middle East to provide combat casualty care.
