| Specimen Collection: | Obtain collection kit available from Laboratory. Identify three lesions per patient to sample. Preferably from different locations on the body and/or with differing appearances. Vigorously swab or brush the base of each lesion with a separate sterile dry polyester, rayon or Dacron swab. Insert each swab into its own tube containing UTM or VTM. Carefully break the swab at the score line and tightly close the sample. |
