Dr. Brown Harris joined the Department of Family and Community Medicine in the role of assistant professor and director of behavioral science. She completed her medical education at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, and completed a fellowship in psychology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

Dr. Brown Harris sees children, adolescents, and families. She also works with residents to develop patient interaction skills and provides teaching and supervisor for residents caring for patients with mental health disorders.

She previously served in an assistant professor role in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma – Tulsa School of Community Medicine.
