Maarika Sterling is a board certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in the care and treatment of patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) on in-center dialysis.
She has worked as a dialysis technician and registered nurse in both home and at kidney dialysis centers prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She has been a speaker at several American Nephrology Nurses Association conferences as well as a guest on the National Kidney Foundation podcast. She works closely with the attending nephrologists and the dialysis staff to provide patient-centered and compassionate care to patients with ESRD.
