Dr. Hitt is excited to be part of the Albany Medical Center family. He has practiced in a wide variety of settings including private practice and academic medical centers. He has a passion for teaching and helping providers best utilize the technology at their disposal. Electronic medical records, telemedicine, minimally invasive surgery, and cervical dysplasia are some of his areas of interest.

Dr. Hitt is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in clinical informatics. He is an active advocate for the advancement of academic specialists in general obstetrics and gynecology and was a cofounder of the Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology (SASGOG).
