Dr. Nicasio is an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology who specializes in Maternal Fetal Medicine with special interest in maternal cardiac and hypertensive disease and fetal diagnosis. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies with a broad range of maternal and fetal pathology including preterm birth, diabetes, maternal cardiac disease, and fetal anomalies. She performs fetal diagnostic testing including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
Dr. Nicasio graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, performed her residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and completed a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Her interests include evidence-based medical care and research, resident and fellow education, procedure simulation, and comprehensive patient care.
