James Listman, MD

Dr. Listman serves as the head of pediatric nephrology. He specializes in treating children with a variety of acute and chronic kidney diseases, including caring for those who require renal replacement therapy including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation. He has expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex glomerular diseases in children and has a special interest in the evaluation and management of acid-base and electrolyte disturbances.

Dr. Listman completed a fellowship in nephrology at Boston Children's Hospital and a residency in pediatrics at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y. He has authored multiple abstracts and papers and teaches courses on pediatric nephrology and renal pathophysiology at Albany Medical College.
