Dr. Tafen Wandji is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in general surgery, trauma surgery, and surgical critical care. He is also the program director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Albany Medical College.

Dr. Tafen Wandji completed a fellowship in critical care at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, and residencies in general surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle and at Albany Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Tver State Medical Academy in Russia.
