Dr. Stetzer attended Emory University for both his MPH and MD degrees. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Albany Medical Center. His main areas of clinical focus, teaching, and research include reproductive health and contraception, diagnosis and management of cervical dysplasia, and first-trimester ultrasound. He serves as the Medical Director for Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. He believes that contraception is one of the most important preventative health issues for people of reproductive potential. Prior to medical school he had a variety of jobs including working as a 911 Dispatcher in Boulder, Colorado, an EMT in Missoula, Montana, and a Park Ranger in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in southern Arizona.
