Dr. Dailey is the chief of Prehospital and Operational Medicine at Albany Medical Center. He serves as a member of the New York State Medical & Trauma Advisory Committees and Medical Standards Committee. He is the Regional EMS Medical Director for the Hudson Mohawk Region - REMO, and operational medical director for the cities of: Albany, Schenectady, Watervliet as well as the Town of Colonie EMS. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, National Association of EMS Physicians, International Association of Chiefs of Police, National Fire Protection EMS Committee and National Association of EMTs.

At Albany Medical College, Dr. Dailey is a professor of Emergency Medicine.
